How much does it cost to have a store?
The setup fee is determined by which package you choose at sign up. See
Prices for more details.. When your customer orders an item from your store,
simply place that order with Digital Edge and we will manufacture the item,
ship the product in your name.
Making money is easy with Cafe Press. Each item has a base price. For
example, if the base price on an item is $10.99 each. When you set up your
store, you decide the "retail" price. It looks like this:
Base Price = $10.99
Your Price = $15.99
Your Profit = $5.00 |
Whatever you enter in "Your Price" is what you charge the (it must be
equal to or greater than the base price)

What are base prices?
The base price is the price that Digital Edge charges YOU for for each
item sold. The base price covers all of our costs to produce and ship the
product. Shopkeepers may set the sell price of an item above the base price and
keep the difference.
What is the printing process used on the
t-shirts?
We use a dye sublimation printing process for mugs and mousepads and digital
transfers for all apparel. These processes are similar in quality to screen
printing, with no image cracking, peeling or fading.

How much can we charge for the items in
our store?
You can charge whatever amount you like for your store items, as long as you
charge at least our base price. top
How much does it cost to buy items from
my own store?
You can buy as much as you want from your own store! We will be charged the
base price for items that you buy from your own store. We also offer bulk rates
for shopkeepers. You can buy 15+ items for a 25% discount off the base price.

I do not live in the United States. Can
I still set up a store or buy merchandise?
We accept most international accounts and orders. You can now set up a store
from almost anywhere, and your customers can order from all over the world.
Shipping, however is more expensive for international accounts and shipments.
Please understand, though, that we can only deal with U.S currency at this
time.

Can I just buy stuff for myself?
Absolutely! You can have your own personal store for your own use. If you
don't want anyone to know how to get to your store, simply don't give out your
Store ID.
